Fungi Foray

Come join us for a wonderful foray through the wilds of Tasmania.

We will embark on our journey through the native bush and/or forestry reserves on our search for fantastic fungi.

Fungi are incredible living organisms and an integral part of the earths ecosystem. More closely related to us than the plant kingdom, fungi are actually in a phylum all of their own-how amazing is that!

Come join us as we talk about the native species that inhabit Tasmania, where they can be found and the environmental factor that contribute to their growth, whether they are annual or bi annual fungi, how they help the environment and all the who, what, why’s and how’s of their existence!

An incredible opportunity to rest and reset your energy and nervous systems by immersing ourselves in nature, what a way to spend the day right!

As this is a foray and not a forage we will NOT be taking any specimens from the area.
